The concrete has been poured and the stall fronts have arrived for the new barn! So exciting. Time to get to work putting them up so the horses can be all tucked in and cozy for winter!

Well, Winter Eve is not in foal. First ultrasound revealed something thought to be too small to be an embryo, eventhough her uterine tone felt good. Re-ultrasound today did not identify a pregnancy and whatever was observed on the original ultrasound was gone (so it wasn't a cyst). We think she caught, but then it was regressing on first ultrasound. I've decided to wait until next spring and get a jump start on the season!

They grow up so fast! L'Attitude is just over a month old already. There is now video of this lovely colt available on his sales page here. He is already showing glimpses of his future talent, with a very free shoulder, uphill frame and very good use of his hind end. Even though he's bum high in the video, he still manages to look uphill!

Albador was confirmed in foal to Hadrian today! So excited to repeat this cross! She had a stunning black Hadrian colt in 2009 and I'm contemplating keeping this one if it's a colt. Winter Eve did not cooperate on foal heat and ovulated early, so we are short cylcing her today to rebreed her to Landkönig next week.

Denis Lynch of Ireland, aboard the Landkönig gelding Lantinus, won the first Global Champions Tour International yesterday in Hamburg, Germany. Lantinus is a half brother to our 2011 colt L'Attitude! Don't miss out on your next upper level jumper!

Winter Eve had a lovely colt by Landkönig this morning at 1:45am. He is marked almost identical to his dam, he is bay with two hind socks, a small star and a stripe. He is very modern and leggy and is going to be quite tall. He is for sale and I will post pictures soon.

Waldprinz and I did our first jumper show at the Thunderbird Season Opener on Easter weekend. Wally was such a star, took it all in stride! Love the mind on those Hadrian babies!

It was a sad, but happy day here at Cornerstone Farm today. Hadria left for her new home. I know she is going to a wonderful new owner who will love her like one of her kids. Congratulations to Karin A. of Maple Ridge on her new dressage partner. Looking forward to watching this pair in the dressage ring in the future!

Well, it finally feels like spring has arrived! Winter Eve's Landkönig foal is due in another month. Albador is over at Golden Ears Warmbloods to hopefully get in foal to the trakehner stallion Hadrian. She had a stunning black colt by Hadrian in 2009, so I would really love to repeat this cross. Fingers crossed she catches this year!
